  • Clear All Droppings

Remove all food or liquid droppings from your floor or dining table. It is the food particles that welcome number of pests in the house. If we do not reconsider our lifestyle to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, pests will keep increasing in your premises.

  • Monitoring Kitchen

Every time you cook in the kitchen, clean the countertop, kitchen floor, table and oven with a little common solution and cotton cloth. This will not allow the pests to breed in those areas. Wash cooking dishes and dining plates right away to avoid any food stains.

  • Routine Cleaning

Clean your refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and store room almost every two days to avoid any food stains and particles. Any other appliances on the kitchen counter should also be cleaned thoroughly. This will disallow the growth of pests in such places.

  • Store Food Appropriately

Most of the pests grow on food stains and particles. It is, thus, advisable to keep the remaining food covered inside the refrigerator. Do not leave anything over the counter for a night or so. This is a clear welcome to new pests.

  • Change Containers

Discard cardboard containers and move all your food to glass containers. Make sure these containers are sealed properly. Pests can easily smell the presence of food and start outgrowing in numbers there.  Airtight containers do not allow the food odor to spread outside.

  • Seal Your Trash Cans

Trash is a welcome place for ants, roaches, rodents, mosquitoes, flies and other pests or bacteria. Ensure your trash-can has a lid that can be shut immediately after use. Keeping all your trash covered will restrict the growth of pests in that area.

  • Ensure No Leakage

Most of the bacteria and pests breed in clogged water or wet areas like sink (including kitchen under-counter sink), bathroom and toilet. Repair all the faucets and do not allow any leakage or water clogging in these areas. This will automatically ensure zero pests’ growth and population.
